We’re receiving reports from citizens that scam calls are increasing again. Individuals are claiming to be from the Finney County Sheriff’s Office and telling citizens that their loved one needs bail money.

This is a SCAM. We do not call asking for money. Do not give out or confirm any personal information, do not send money, cash or gift cards to anyone claiming to be law enforcement.  If you receive a call from ANY law enforcement agency our best advice is to hang up and call the actual law enforcement agency and verify the claim.  Please protect yourselves and family!! Share this information with those that don’t have social media.
