Police Reports

Reports that are written by deputies on patrol or in investigations are routed to the Records Division where certain data is extracted and put in the computer system. The paperwork is then disseminated as necessary and filed.

Extracted Data

The paperwork includes criminal offense reports, traffic accident reports, and traffic citations among others. The data extracted includes the names of victims, suspects, stolen property descriptions, vehicle information, etc.

Record Maintenance

The Records Division also maintains a full listing of all registered offenders living in Finney County and fingerprints of persons applying for a variety of civil employment including substitute teachers.
